Judge
Chris McKenzie
Chris McKenzie is an experienced educator currently serving as the Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) teacher at ShenWai International School in Shenzhen. With a diverse teaching background, Chris has taught in Beijing, Sudan, and South Korea, gaining valuable international teaching experience.

In addition to his teaching expertise, Chris has actively pursued research on climate change. He dedicated time in Antarctica to study and analyze the impacts of climate change, further deepening his understanding of this crucial global issue. Chris holds a master's degree in education, which has provided a solid foundation for his pedagogical approach. Furthermore, his postgraduate studies have focused specifically on climate change, allowing him to bring a specialized perspective to his teaching practice.

Matthew Jaekel
As an educator at St. Andrew's College in Ontario Canada, a few of Matt's passions are making economics and financial literacy meaningful and engaging while also leading the environmental programs at the school. He leads the student environmental council and faculty/staff environmental committee, which create programs and initiatives that support the school's environmentally friendly practices and culture.
Matt also promotes learning outside the school environment and has developed financial education content for charities, start-ups and large educational organizations. One of Matt's resources, "The Realistic Affordability Budget," has been featured in the Globe and Mail.

Adrian Colloty
Adrian Colloty is a South African citizen. His qualifications include a B.Sc. degree in Earth Science, an Honours Degree in Geology, and a Masters Degree in Engineering. He spent numerous years working in the mining industry in South Africa as well as some time in Central Africa. This time was spent working on underground and open pit mining operations as well as an exploration geologist in the field. He has been a teacher for the past few years, specializing in Grade 10-12 science. His favorite field of science to teach is Chemistry.

George Tsakmakis
George Tsakmakis is a highly skilled professional with a wide background in education, consulting, management, programming, and computer science. George has ten years of teaching experience and has developed his talents in management, ICT, mathematics, science, psychology, and technology. He demonstrates great leadership characteristics, thrives in teamwork, and is skilled at problem-solving and consultation.

George has a Diploma in Teacher Education from Ifugao State University, a Master's Degree in Teaching Natural Science from the Open University of Greece, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from MIT. He also possesses a Bachelor of Natural Science degree from the Open University of Greece. Currently study master's degree in Phycology at Queensland University
Mentor
Amadie Gajanaike
​Amadie is an international student from Sri Lanka and Yale sophomore majoring in Electrical Engineering. Last year, she worked as an instructor for Yale Young Global Scholars, a global pre-college program for high school students. On campus, she engages in New Haven public service and social justice as part of the Dwight Hall Executive Committee, as well as develops platformer games through Amoriem Labs. In her free time, Amadie paints for the Yale Visual Artists Collective while procrastinating all of her homework.
